    Doeas anyone know this...

In your dial-up and network settings is there any way to export these to a file.

I have a lot of different dial up and vpn settings. If I rebuild my machine I have to enter them all manually again or if some one else wants these connections they have to enter them manually.

Can this information be exported and reimported?

Inherently in windows, I don't think so.
The whole automatic configuration stuff is more geared towards LANs etc.

So the only way I can think of would be to get a few routines together to pull the details on the DUN connections, then print to a file on a floppy.
Stick your app on the floppy too, and upon execution, parse the info files, and ask the user which DUN connections they would like created.

Then just created the appropriate ones.

    Ah Ha

I think I may have found it.
You can search for a file called rasphone.pbk

This holds all your current settings.

Now all I have to see is if I copy certain connections from another file does this work if I copy it in mine (I think usernames and pwd's will be another kettle of fish)
