anyone want to hex this for me?

in the new version of kazaa, you can search twice, then the search button is disabled. Is there a way to hex it so it never becomes disabled? Kazaalite doesnt have it either

Dont update in kazza lite, update from there site. If you update using the program it will install the normal kazzaa patch including the spyware.

You would probably have to disassemble it and find the where it is calling the function to disable, and change it. That will be rather hard unless your a good "cracker".

You couldnt hex it, you would have to disassemble to assembly, then look for the jump point change it to no operation, then recompile. It will be very hard to find the right spot to edit.

But... if you really want to try.

Get Disasm32 to help you find the area to assembly code

Then use Softice or HIEW to change and recompile.
