Does anyone know how I can get caller ID information from my phone line? I have caller ID from my phone company so I just need to know how to get the information from the line. I tried to use MSCOMM control, but had no luck.
Thanks in advance,

It's been several years since I played with that. Some of the newer modems may have API you can use... try TAPI and TSAPI searches. Back when I was doing it, I had to tie into a separate commport device to monitor single or multi-line CallerID. The whole POTS (plain old telephone service) thing still runs at a blazing 1200 baud in the US. Check out Zeus PhoneStuff or Rochelle Communications, they may still carry single-line products. Much of the CTI industry turned away from small/single user stuff about 5 years ago.
