2 fathers and 2 sons went fishing, they all cought 1 fish. and they brought it home, and say: we caught 3 fish (and they did) so they each ate a fish, but there were only 3 fish and no they didn't lose anything. HINT: THEY COUGHT ONLY A TOTAL OF 3 FISH
how can this be?

There were three people A son, his father, and his grandfather. Since the father is the son of the grandfather and the grandfather is the father of the father. You have 2 sons and 2 fathers, but only 3 fish.

There where three people.
