    Is it just me?

I know this thread will probably get moved.. but I need your guys input... is it just me or is the board pretty wacky now that it has moved to another server or whatever has been done.. i guess it is hosted by www.vbulletinhosting.com now??? Now there is no DNS just an IP address in the http url, it is really really slow (for me at least), and it seems to be messing up on the posting (multiple records of the same post, or posts with no post in them) I know some of these things happened before.. but it seems to be with great frequency now...

so is it me?? or the board?

Not vBulletin of course but the host. They aren't designed for this much load.

that doesn't make sense. why build a server to host the boards just to give it up to another host that can't stay up with the pack.

Was anyone else experiencing the same types of issues(slowness, timeouts, multiple message posts) prior to the switch to this new vBulletin? I was experiencing it while the forums still had the old GUI.

vBHosting is designed for shared hosting IIRC and obviously something as huge as VBF needs dedicated hosting.

so why switch when there was nothing wrong with the (newish)old server?
