No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The monkey boy must live on. Try under "profile", not sure but maybe it has this option, then again it could be tied into login and passwords etc.

Well it may be a bit harder then that depending on how the database is set up.

I wrote a C++ program to interface with a mySQL database. All I need to know is the host address, and a username/password. Preferably spoofing my address as well.

I didn't mean connecting to the database, I meant changing the user name.

Possibly, I expect it's just in a table somewhere. If anyone here is admin for a different vBulletin system...they'd know

I think it would depend on how the Users (or whatever) table is set up. If the username itself is the primary key, changing it might be difficult, but if there is somefield like UserID (some kind of number) it would probably be easier then as it would be the UserID that was linked to other tables and not the username itself.

I have an opinion Chimpy. Please don't change your name for my. I know Dennis might make fun of you calling you "Chimpy the Wimpy, Limpy" but dennis doesn't know anything for his age. We can ask batman to call him young bun wiper.
You are my new boyfriend Chimpman. If I lock everyone on this site in a cage with you; you will mangle them to death.
I am Wonder Woman, the sexiest woman on this site. Don't forget that programmers.

We have a policy here not to let people change there usernames. Firstly, because if we let one person do it, we would have to let everyone do it - and there is no way of allowing you to change it yourself automatically. Also, we would find that people would post several rude posts under one name, and then change their username to escape the reputation.
Sorry!
John

That's a pretty feeble excuse John! :-)
Users can have more than one login name anyway.

About John's password....
I would make a program that cycles through all the words in a txt dictionary, and enters it in the Password text box (having automatically entered John in the Name box) It would then look through the source, and see if at says 'Username invalid' or whatever it says. If it does say this, then try the same word, but with James as the Username. To be extra-thorough, you would use UCASE and LCASE (because its case sensitive) just in case they have decided to be smart) and test like this until it finds a match.
If this doesn't work, then it would iterate through all of the (valid) ASCII codes until it found a match.

She doesn't...to John she's just "Mrs Le Pont". He doesn't want to get too friendly when her husband gets back.

I don't expect to get guru by my post count. Yes, it may be over 1000, but that's not the point. The point is - whether you make any USEFUL posts. I hope that I have managed to make as many useful posts as possible, and to help people. It is for that reason alone that I would consider the guru status...

Dennis and Jethro stop calling my Chimpman, Chimpy, the Wimpy Limpy. They are just jealous with you Chimpy. Jethro is my ex-boyfriend.
I am not Jethro, Young Buns Wiper. You are too young and that is why you don't know the difference between a man and a wonder woman. I am the only one who can call Chimpy, the Wimpy Limpy because I have no manhood to cut off. I am not the Joker. He has lost his identity. 100% Wonder Woman%
