I have both VB6 as VB:NET installed on the same machine.
The only problem I am aware of is with Crystal reports. The .NET version is not compatible with the one included with VS6. At least this was the case with BETA 1 or 2 of VS.NET, I'm not sure about the release version.

There is something that I'm not sure of, I've heard that the old VB can be installed along with VB.NET, but I dont know about the whole VS packet. Like I don't know if this is the same about C++
    someone let me know....

    Just one more thing.
If you happen to have an MSDN subscription, the MSDN library is now the integrated help system for VB.NET, so if you want it to use for VB6, you still need the october 2001 version.

I have VS 6 Enterprise and VS.Net Professional running on a Windows XP Professional machine with no problems at all. You can even run them at the same time...

    Thumbs up VB6 & .NET

VB6 and VB.net are both installed on my computer. I have no problems with it. I can still use every aspect of both version.
