    Using Kazaa with Win XP

ok i upgraded from win me to win xp.
Besides breaking Norton Utilities completely, It also Killed Kazaa's ability to connect to its server.
their help file says its probably a firewall. Anyone have a clue on how to let Kazaa work with winxp?

Like EVERYTHING says, you need to uninstall and reinstall Norton...

You may have accidently turned on the XP Firewall, which is an idiot's firewall... No config...

Only applies if you have broadband, I think...

well i would uninstall and reinstall norton, but 75% of the programs say they are not compatible with win xp, and the installer even refuses to run.

    Red face Hmmm...

I think you should use the upgrade wizard which checks your existing OS and the programs installed on it and lets you know the programs which it doesn't like...

As fas as I know XP has got the firewall enabled and I haven't got any problems with KaZaa...

I did the same thing as u did...

NORTON issue is OK from my experience...

    Cheers...
