Has anyone else seen the show JunkYards wars? I think it's a British Show that they where showing here on TLC this summer. I thought the show was great, but my friends all though I was crazy.

I have never heard of Junkyard Wars.

If it is a load of wierd looking English people fighting with remote control robots then it's called RobotWars over here.

It's what Sam(antha) was describing! I thought that was the best show on all summer.

I think I did see one of them.

one of the teams found two aeroplane wings, strapped them together with a bit of string or something, put a chair in the middle.

AND THEN

One of the sat in it and was pulled about 30 MPH to see if it would fly.

And people say the yanks are crazy!

yeah, i watch 'Junk Yard Wars' regularly. It's really good. Especially as an engineering student, it's neat to watch these people 'engineer' a working product out of garbage.

I've seen most of the episodes, but luckily they're filming a new season this fall.

One of the best moments had to be when a team of Navy Engineers lost badly too a team of bikers.
Do you still get the show? Here (Canada and US I think) we don't have any episodes until they film the new series.

I love that show? I thought they only had a few episodes on this summer, is it still on? What time is it on TLC? I wanted to watch that but I missed it.

It was on Wednesday on TLC at 9 and a second episode at 10. I don't think its still showing. Maybe over in Britain they still have the show on. It was a British show.
