    Unspecified error: E_FAIL(0x80004005)

    I'm trying to bind a combobox to an access database. I am using the visual data tools to bind this but for some reason when i try to generate the dataset i keep getting this error.

    OleDBDataAdapter1. The data adapter can not return the data from the data source.
    Unspecified error: E_FAIL(0x80004005)

    I've played around with all the suggestions from the help but still no luck..

    any suggestions

    If you are trying to select all the fields in the table, try selecting one field at a time. There probably one field with bad data in it causing the error.
