I've been tweaking

and it felt pretty good considering I was by myself. Anyway, after that I worked on my web site. What do you think of this?

Edit. I keep forgetting not to add that backslash at the end. It should work now. Sorry.

OK, you don't have to read. Just tell me what you think of the look.

I was just looking at the photographs, you have rea talent. Those are incredible! BTW, I think that the bird is some sort of quail, not sure though. You should come to Wales and do a little, it's beautiful over here! Pembrokshire, the Brecon Beacons, and Snowdonia are the most beautiful areas in Wales!

Thanks for the compliments. I took the picture of the bird in hawaii. It is about 7" tall. Sort of looks like a quail, but I don't think it is. Probably related though.

I'd love to visit Wales. Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford to travel around a bit. I think a great job would be as a National Geographic photographer. But I think that's like saying it would be cool to be president. A lot of people want the job and they get the best of the best (photographers, not presidents ).

Is the question do we like the penguin page or the home page better? If it is, then I like the penguin page...it's more soothing. But I actually like how they work together--the tie in very nicely, yet they're different enough to give the reader variety.

OK, I really don't mean to drone on about the consistency, so you might need to tell me that you're already decided you LIKE having a completely different look for each page, in which case I'll shut up about it.

Cool, good luck in it! It's got the eyes and beak of a quail, could be a cross between a quail and small grouse. I'll ask around, see if anyone else recognises it

I love it, each pages is something new and different, if they were all the same, it would get kinda boring

Nah, it's the wrong shape, it's too round, and it's beak is designed for picking insects out of the earth, not out of wood. Woodpeckers have longer bodies anyway.

    Cuckoo's are round bodied.
Cuckoo's beaks are used mainly for picking insects out of the earth.
Woodpeckers - where did woodpeckers come from.

I'm not real keen on what bird is what, but I was wondering the same thing.

You should think about adding cumbersome frames.

    That would be very nice.

I was on Oahu - Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, Diamondhead, Waikiki beach.

Really hilly and rolling. Like any tropical island - sand on the outside, tropical foliage in the middle.

OK. I'll do that. Great idea!

Here's my resume again... haven't made the changes you sent me, but I think it looks sharper without being "flashy."

Thanks. What can I do to improve the menu?

On person suggested that I have the links always showing and one thumbnail from each on the main page. But I don't want to do that because I hate having to click "Back" all the time to go forward, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I'm totally open to suggestions.

I think it's some form of sandgrouse, but I'm not to sure, probably a hen, the colours are dull. I could be wrong, I can't find many pictures of Hawaiian birds, many are extinct or endangered, so all I've got to go on is sketches.

    Here's the problem:

put # in front of the numeric colour codes in the [bsytle[/b] section

    Code:

    Line breaks are
You've got

Remove the / and it looks fine!
