    Please follow this link

    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dms.mbs/cmr.htm

    The page is large 742KB
I need to know which browsers/operating systems it displays OK on.

IE 5.5 and IE 6 on NT4 displays it fine even though the PCs have minimal spec 266Mhz 64 MB RAM

The dropdown lists down display correctly on any Win 98 PCs I've tried (even a fairly modern PC 800Mhz 128 MB RAM)

Looks as though it is an OS problem rather than browser

So, I need to know what OS it WILL display OK on.

    Thanks

It's looking for a Javascript function called setFlag() which doesn't appear to be anywhere on the page!

As you said, WIN '98 is OK. No problems here.

Just tried it and it hung up my computer.

I'm running Mozilla on NT SP6 with a simulated wood grain skin.

Unable to get anything from webpage. Had to kill all Moz windows.

When I started this thread last Friday I was just on my way out the door - 13:00 finish on a Friday

    It should have said:

Wally, you said it worked OK on your '98 PC. What spec is it?

MartinSmith the setFlag() function was in an included .js file. I thought I'd removed all instances of it being called - I must have missed a few; I was in a bit of a rush

But what spec is your PC?

Did you scroll the page up and down?

I need to know what the minimum spec PC that it displays OK on.

It didn't display on my home PC 800Mhz 128 MB RAM

When I scroll the page up and down the drop-down boxes either disappear of just don't scroll correctly

    A high-end PC : P-IV at 1.5 Ghz with 256 MB RAM on adsl-line.
I suppose you haven't got any use of the information seeing as it is a fast PC ...

    I don't think it's a speed thing then. This is a LOW END P2/333Mhz, 160MB Ram.

    Maybe it's a RAM thing?

Hmm... It's got me stumped now.

I'm not actually telling the whole story though. The page I tried at home was on the live system and is actually a bit more complicated than that example.

I'll try and knock up a more file which is a more accurate represantation of the pukka ones....
