Hmmm...
That's very interesting because I can connect to the games using IPX like DEMONSTAR etc etc...
Can you use all other functions of NIC like, connection sharing or anything...???
What kind of NIC do u have...??? Brand name and model please...
Did XP installed it by itself you did it manually...???
Cheers...

I can use ICS from the Host Computer, but I've never tried it on this one.
Intel 8255x-Based PCI Ethernet Apdator 10BaseT
It gives me the option of finding it my self. And ideas what it might be on?
XP came with the comp.

OK...
I was just thinking about compatability issue but as u told it came with it so there is no issue...
Tell you my problem...
I have 2 NICs and I couldn't share my net connection b4 so I thought its the other NIC creating the problem and I was wrong when I removed the other NIC.
Then I dropped paying attention to it and later some stage my XP crashed...!!! ( Because of some weird experiments of mine...hi hi )
So I repaired my XP or lets say I upgraded it and now every thing is cool...
It must be a conflict or improper configuration...

All I think it is, is that IPX Setup files weren't included with XP, and I need to get them either online, or from the XP CD, or maybe even Microsoft.
I'm about to go on a hunt at Microsoft actually....

Give it a go...
Try the MS website and hunt for it...
If can't find any thing then try to remove NIC and put it in a different slote or try to clear the IP Stack or repair XP as I did...
Good luck with it...
Cheers...
