If anyone in here knows anything about eBay and could tell me how i could get a persons email address from their user name using vb .net i would be greatly HAPPY! =) also if you could hook me up with a site that could tell me how that would be great to

and before anyone says it can not be done: I saw a program were you type in an ebay user name press a button and the email address is given.

OK, two possibilities

1)The program you saw was from ebay itself, so they have proper access to their own database. In such a case, you cannot do it, as you have no rights, nor will they grant it to you.

2)If not a proggy from ebay itself, it may have been one that utilizes winsock to get each member's profile page, parses it and retrieves the email address from there.

If it's the second one, you'll need to know winsock for that.

i do not have that program it was being auctioned off on ebay and it had some screen shots.

i know for sure it is not from eBay cause there are a couple of programs out there that say they can do what i need and i do not think that it uses winsock i think it just sends a querry string to ebay and ebay sends the email i am not sure though....that is why i am saking for help


One more thing i need......there is this thing called bid sniping were you bid at the last second to win an auction.....there are programs that can do this automatically if anyone knows how this is done let me know about that to
