    Red face

You now when you have a rectangle you can draw 2 Diagonal lines from corner to corner, one from the top left to the bottom right and one from the bottom left to the top right

    Code:
         _______
         |\ /|
         | \ / |
         | \/ |
         | /\ |
         | / \ |
         |/____\|

The line from the top left to bottom right is called the leading diagonal, what's the other one called?

not familiar with this notation, but i would imagine it would be the 'trailing' diagonal.

Unless I'm mistaken (and I probably am), since it's a rectangle, they're both the same kind of diagonal... I think a leading diagonal is in other sorts of quadrilaterals, like rhombi...
    Code:
       .
      /|\
     / | \
    /__|__\
    \ | /
     \ | /
      \|/
       .
In this rhombus, the diagonal between the top & bottom points is supposed to be a leading/primary diagonal, and the diagonal between the left & right points is a secondary diagonal... That's at least how much I know... Probably wrong...

    what about "Donnar" ?

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

By the way thanks to Wossname and Yontan for saying usefull things, I'm going with trailing diagonal as I thought that's what it was but wasn't sure.

Yontan I think in your rhombus the line from top to botton is a vertical and left to right is a horizontal, Diagonals are usually diagonals, if it fell over to the left then they'd be diagonal and the long one would be the leading diagonal.

Hehe, I searched everywhere for this another diagonal in rectange, and you know what? I didn't find anything.

So actually we can call this the kedaman-diagonal since noone has yet given a name to it, hehehe

    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13

    Diagonals

Can't help but wonder why it's important to give them names?
