Its a fine machine, but far more bells and whistles than I'd bother with myself. Seems like a nice price though.

You're missing a cd-rw drive and I think you should go for 512mb ram instead of 256.

I've got a CDRW already, and I've got a network card (no modem needed, i'm a DSL wh0re now )
I thought about more RAM, but I'm not going to be using that much. I'll think about it though.

I've gone for the extra RAM (512MB now) and a smaller monitor (15") cause I really don't have room for a 17 incher.
