USA vs Germany, 21/6/2002
I am a bit stumped as to who I should root for here.... I mean the USA seem to win everything else already and, well, then there's..... Germany. Nuff said I think.
So, who will you be rooting for?
Harry.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place - the US just edges it.

They may be favourites but there's no way I'm starting to support the Bloody Krauts now

We do? I thought we didn't participate in international sports enough to "win everything else".

This must be giving you ulcers... to actually want the US to win. I'm really amazed, but you had the courage to admit it. Next you'll be telling us you like to wear women's undergarments. It's a rapidly changing world.

I think you're already "different" enough. You should probably try to be more less different.

What's wrong with linge ... errr, moving along now, nothing to see !
Now I support England and as a good second the US (just for the novelty of it ).
I will never, ever support the Germans. We've supported them some 60 years ago and they didn't leave for 5 years.

When someone supports us, we don't ever leave. So you're saying they left too soon??

You think the Germans are the only ones who cheat? What about the other teams the US or the England don't all ways follow the rules

Americans are forthright, law-abiding citizens both in daily life and in sporting affairs. We never cheat!

Guys, it doesn't matter who wins, does it?
England are going to win the world cup so everything else is just foreplay.
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.
