MQSeries problem

First of all let me shout:

IBM MQSERIES NOT M$ MQ

Now I've got that point clear I'll continue...

I am trying to start a Channel using MQI (API) commands in VB based on the pcfsamp sample supplied with MQSeries.

The target MQManager is not running so an error ought to occur...

But it doesn't.

Errors are being written to the MQSeries Error Log but not being returned from the API.

WHY?

Please supply me with the code (if you haven't solved you're problem yet)....

there are seceral ways to start you're channel. And what version of MQ are you using ?

By the Way..... Why are you trying to start a channel ??? I really can't think of a use to do this....
