I want to make an OCX with some controls in it and I want to be able to put a password in it
So the OCXs don't work without the password. I Tried to put a password proprty in each of them but
I have to fill in the password each time I want to use one.

Is there any way to put the one password at the runtime and use it globally ?

    Thanks

I don't have much experience with data protections, but you might have the usercontrol object check the title of it parent form so it will only work with your program. Personally, if I don't want somebody using my usercontrol, I compile it as part of the exe. It does make the exe bigger, but people can't use the control. If I had some time to work on this, I could make a fairly complex system that would use class objects to verify that the control is allowed to be used. Compile the class as part of the program, and pass it to one of the properties in the usercontrols.
