It depends on the beer, by me. When I drink a beer like Guiness, it doesn't need to be so cold. The really light beers like miller, corona, budweiser, etc.. i need ice cold, and something like a becks or a heinekin, grolsch is somewhere in the middle.

As for ahrd liquor, I like my vodka from the freezer and my whiskeys, malts, bourbons (yeah!!!) at room temp.
