Where's Kedaman Gone?
I miss him...
Who else will fulfill my insatiable need for debate?
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

I think that.... combined with your dreaming about him has made him run away screaming
But I have it on good authority that he has been busy with uni and other projects lately

Kedaman hates you and isn't ever going to come back to debate with you again.
Want a hanky to wipe away the tears?

Hopefully the break will infuse us both with new ideas fresh for debates in the future.

sorry simon, I have been busy with all sorts of things

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

What happened is....
Kedaman went to a 'real party' and saw there is life outside philosophical debate.
This direct contradiction to everything he previously believed and the sudden realisation that he's wasted the last couple of years when he should have been partying caused him to undergo gravitational collapse and become a black hole.
Under careful tuition from DragonFly he managed to reverse this, and has now become a disco diva, wearing sideways ironed white flares with pockets in the knees and platform shoes.
After trading some of his socks with the Bentusi Exchange for the knowledge of his past lives, he has now partially regressed and spends his leisure time eating a variety of insects.
Apart from that, he's fine.
Gentile or Jew,
O you who turn the wheel and look to windward,
Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you...

I think you'll find that's also true. IanP and Behemoth will vouch for the fact that he not only considers insects to be delicious and nutritious, but he also views them as currency.
If you're ever stuck for a present to get him, he's particularly fond of the big yellow ones....
