Nope, I dont think So I did a more detailed search, and 93 seems to be the lowest.

I am guessing you got the previous 93 price from newegg. Their reliable, Justin swears by them. The usually have the best prices.

(grumble bastards dont chip to canada grumble grumble)

Anyway thats probably the cheapest with out getting a different brand. Any reason your going with WD over, say Maxor or Seagate?

I was going to, but I heard some bad stories from a few people. And filburt said he'd go with Western Digital if it was him. I'm not only looking at price but at quality and what's best. I also am looking at a RAM upgrade, so if you have any company suggestions with that, let me know.

Are you doing this to get VS.NET up? I'm thinking about upgrading my machine to run VS.NET. As much as I'd like a new machine, unemployment is making me a little weary of a big sticker price. I'm thinking of just buying more RAM and a bigger HD. What do you guys think of a celeron 300A w/ 512 MB RAM? Could it handle win2k and VS.NET?

In a way, yes, it is for VS.Net. Right now I have a Pentium 3 800mhz with 64mb of ram and 30GB hard drive. I'm going to upgrade to 256mb SDRAM and add a 60GB hard drive. I'm going to use the 60GB for all my save files and such, and the only thing the 30GB will have on it is Windows 2k (as soon as I get it) and all the program files.

I'm tired of backing up data for formats, so I'm buying a new drive to save all data to so I won't have to.

I just ordered that WD hard drive. So I guess the deal's done.
