England go through in pretty un-impressive fashion...
Not as an impressive finish as I hoped for...
England 0 - Nigeria 0.
England have seriously got to work on purring goals together.
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

And bringing us even more down to earth, if we progress past the danes we are more than likely gonna be facing Brazil in the quarter finals.
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

I watched it this morning before I went to work. It was a pretty mediocre match altogether. The one highlight was probably a fantastic shot by Scholes which was (unfortunately for us) followed by an awesome save.
Well at least it wasn't as bad as the Sweden match. Shame we didn't finish first in the group but it was close I suppose.

I think we're better off coming 2nd. This way we play in the evening as opposed to a searing afternoon match.

England will get as far as the quarter final and then they'll be on the next plane home.
Realistically spoken, that is ...
But ! Good job England !

I think to be fair to the boys, playing in 98F heat and 90% humidity against an African nation requires a different style of game - they played against Argentina in an Environmentally controlled arena...
I was more bored than unimpressed - I was impressed with england not slipping an a huge Nigerian banana skin....

Agreed. However can I contoversially and that Argentina played some very entertaining attacking football as opposed to 10 defenders. They were also much better than France.
Right, you can carry on knocking them now!

I prefer it when teams attack, like they did against Sweden and England. Defensive football gets tedious when teams wait for the other to make a mistake. Pretty much like most FA Cup finals.
