The Harley Road King vs. the Sporty?

I bet I can still make the bar after 300 miles.... plus I've got room for a Blonde on the back. You, well you get to bring Fistina and Rosey LaPalma.

Doesn't do you any good to bring 'em if they leave you for me at the end.

I doubt they would be leaving since about all you would be doing is complaining about how much your butt hurt. They might get the wrong idea about you....

I had a Sporty... nothing better for rippin it up around town but those long trips were frikkin murder

I'd take the Ducati over the Harley, personally.

probably not but they don't make that any more. They currently only do the 360, 550 and 456. Of the three I prefer the 360

It's not fast, but it's a hand-built Italian classic. It was 19 years old in this photo.

You should see the looks I get when I ride it down the highway.

    Is she a good ride?

Well, SD, there are times when she likes to be ridden hard. But mostly she just likes it when we go places together. I learned early on that if I didn't treat her with respect, then a bad case of road-rash was inevitable. Once I figured that out, and she became a travelling companion and not merely a possession, I was greatly rewarded.

    Suzuki GSX R 750
    Ducatti 998
    Honda Firebalde

    Buel.....

    which do u go for...

personally it would be the Ducatti... but i wouldn't ride it.... just sit in the garage and listen to the engine

    I've got a GPZ600R in the garage which I haven't ridden for 8½ years.

I intend selling it to buy an old Land Rover once I get the bleeder running again.

I'll have to dig out some photos of my earlier wrecks

    I shoe-horned a Yamaha RD200 engine in a FS1E when I was 17!

    Wheelied well!
    Another light-hearted post from Guru
