    Alarm?

    Is there an alarm I can set in Windows? Like a bedside alarm clock but noisier?

    I think I wrote a program that'll work as an alarm clock and plays a *.wav file of your choosing once.

    like an alerty clocky scheduler thing?

    I like xReminder pro. It's not exactly free but it's good stuff. It's won loads of awards and stuff

    There's a plugin for winamp2.x called something like xAlarm.

    Yes it can...sorta...just requires some creativeness. It can launch a program on teh hour and I think it can open a URL on demand too which should work for sound files too.

    i set a schedual task to run a mp3

    just set the volume levels etc before i goto bed

    in windows u can set schedual tasks to run... its desgined for .exe files.... but if u browse and then select an mp3 it works fine...

    depending on which version on windows... depends on how u go about setting them up

    OK then
    start > Program Files > Accessories > System Tools > Schedual Tasks

    Double Click Add Task, Click Next.. and then follow the wizard through

    Josh, cheers for that program. I don't have a lot of wavs on my system, but ill dig a couple out. Im sure that'll be useful in the future.

    hey could anyone help

    i would like some ideas on how to make an alarm that plays mp3's or wav's. but i need to be able to set it for once daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or one time only.
    any ideas would be helpfull.

    or if anyone could get this one to work that would help.
    its not mine its one i found by accident.
