that hundred euro or so in my pocket is starting to itch, so im thinking of dropping into game to pickup a pcgame or something.

any suggestions ?

well myself and anna have been playing a lot of red alert, tiberian sun, dune and that sort over the past while, and we're thinking of getting back into the delta force type of game.

so ya know sneak in, snipe a few people, blow up some stuff.

got a few games there at home that were brought back from thailand for me, but bah im not really a fan.

just something thats fun and multiplayer in which we can kill lots of stuff

for first person shooting, you can't go far wrong with SOF2 , fooking enyoyable but bloody hard

Oh and nobody mention renegade, we finished that in no time.
Yeah and also for multiplayer, the specs cant be too high.
Anna's got a great machine that'll do the good games, but my laptop isn't the greatest now

Counter strike is the hottest multi player shooter around...

There are 2 teams... COunter terrorists and terrorists... the terrorists have to execute a certain task while the counter terrorists have to stop them... its sooooo much fun playing online...

The best part is its so realistic... i mean everything... including the weapons, recoil, etc.... One shot in the head and u are dead...

Counter Strike isn't a shooter... its a strategy game... at least its suppose to be... u group out in pairs and eliminate the target or enemy... best part is that the round is timed so if u die... u dont have to wait very long...

There's way too much cheating on CS public servers to make if fun. Also it's a bit repetitive.

Yep i hate it because i don't like waiting 5mins when i die in the first minute.

The graphics look awesome and the 'rag-doll' physics look very good.

mostly all the uk servers have really cracked down on cheating and 1.5 is out very soon which will have it's own inbuilt cheating system

Saw a few games like SOF2 and global operations that i liked the look of, but the minimum system requirements are for a 16meg video card.

This laptop's only got an 8meg card, so we can't play multiplayer

the Urban Terror mod for Q3

personally i still think that q3 owns
with mods like OSP, ProBall, Threewave etc

Ian, I gave up on it months ago, maybe i should get the latest version and start playing again.

Plenderj, Empire earth is very good if you like stratagy games, and the requirements arn't too bad.

The "community" reckons rockstar started a multiplayer aspect but abandoned it half way through. Hopefully they'll release something for the other half soon

Yeah I like that kinda thing, we've gone off those sorta games over the past while.
Played too many.

I thought c&c renegade would fix that but that game was nearly over before it began.

I wanna play something else now...

Starcraft Expansion Pack.

Can be bought with Starcraft for about £8 (or whatever that is in Irish).

Behemoth, Ked, IanP, Rinoa and others play that quite often nowadays.
