Mars bar party
Has anybody ever actually been to a Mars bar party? Or are they just purely fictional?
I was just sitting here thinking about something completely different and I suddenly remembered the term from when I was at school. I haven't been invited to one yet....
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
Harry.

Is that one of those deals where they shave you bald, duct tape your arms and legs together, and leave you all night in the Christmas display at the local church?
Then, ummm...no.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

Harry, I remember exactly what you're talking about. Did "party" really imply multiple people? It seems such an odd concept. Don't kids come up with the wierdest stuff...

HeHe I remember the term from my school days but never really understood what it meant and nobody would tell me, I guess they didn't know either.
Now I'm older and wiser I can hazard a guess but have never heard of anyone who has attended one.

When you talk about Mars Bar's parties, it reminds me of a certain incident in the sixties when the Rolling Stones got busted when having a party around Keith Richard's house...Mariane Faithful got caught in a rather compromising position with a marsbar...
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

Nah this was in your run-of-the-mill upper-middle class boys school.
Actually run by priests.
Maybe that would explain some things.
Anyway yeah, thats the sorta stuff we used to talk about.
And we thought it happened too!
