Help: Cant Delete data in WINXP !

I cant use the data1.recordset.delete in WINXP. It always causes my VB6 to crash and close. Is ther anything i can do to prevent this? Hope there's anyone out there who can help. Thanks in advance!

I have found that using Server-Side cursors will help that problem, also make sure that you are using adlockOptimistic instead of read only. I was having the same problem and that seemed to fix it

    XP vs 2000

I have also found a problem when I upgraded to XP. If originally compiled and built a setup for my app using P&D Wizard when I was running Windows 2000 Pro. Then I upgraded to Windows XP Pro, and when I compiled a new EXE in XP, and gave it my clients as just an EXE update, it caused illegal operations on the Windows 2000 Pro client computers. Has anyone had a similar problem?
