how to diffentiate text by two colors in a text area??

hi,
i want the text in the textarea to appear in two different colors..???? for eg:
Kalpana:hppay b'day
Here kalpana should appear in red and the message should be in blue or someother color.is it possible to do so?? i want it in an textarea....

Please helpme in doing this...

Nope you cannot do that. You can write them to a layer or div using dhtml but that is about it.
