    I would say to include the .ocx component for Access 97. You should be able to find that on a machine that runs Office 97. Copy that .ocx, reference it in your application and it should work fine.

    Convert

    You really should consider converting to Acc2K or you could continue to run into this problem - most upgrades are no big deal.

    Try convincing whoever's database it is that the best course is to go to 2k.
