Stupid math question.
Im stuck on this problem because im not too sure how it should be broken down. Im pretty sure for the inner nesting i would apply -1 such that [4 -(2-3x)] would be broken down as
[4 -1(2-3x)] which would give me [4 - 2 + 3x]. Now do i have to clear the brackets [] in the same manner distributing -0.1 over the contents?
-0.6x - 0.1[4 -(2-3x)] = 0.4(x + 1)

Never mind. I cleared the brackets using another problem 7.03(2-5v) = 0.2[2v - (1-v)] + 3.2v and came up with v = 0.37 which was correct so i went back and applied the same distribution to the other problem which produced a correct result.
