    SAT Assesment

    I'm taking the SAT tommarow. How hard is it? Any tips/suggestions?

    When I was in HS, I didn't prepare at all... in fact, I didn't even know that it was important. I still got the highest score in the school. That was the old version.

    1440. I didn't even know. We were being inspected one day (military school) and the Colonel came up to me and told me. He asked how I achieved that. I said something lame like "I didn't fall asleep."

    I'm sure he thought I was a genius after that.

    I did SO SO on sat one's math, I got 680. not that bad, not that good. but I did marvelous on English !!! I got 400!!!
    umm well I'm bilingual (trilingual actually), it's been only 2 years that I'm speaking in english

    Scholastical Aptitude Test. It's what a lot of colleges look at before they'll enroll someone. Nobody told me that either. I just showed up to take another of those "use a number 2 pencil and fill the dot completely but don't make marks outside the dots" tests.

    I did sort of the same as you. Aced the math portions and didn't do as well on the English. But I took two math courses my sophomore year (Geometry and Algebra II) so I could take calculus my senior year. Only 3 people in my calculus class. Made it a lot better since the instructor could spend more time working with us individually.
