Thread: VB for Linux?

    Don't get your hopes up tho, it's just Borland being cheeky.
    What they're calling "VB" is actually Delphi 5. Which they've released for linux.

    If you're not in the know, Delphi has a similar interface to VB, but the underlying coding language is Object Pascal. If you're like me then you'll probibly hate Pascal. It seems like a more convaluted version of VB with strange syntax, but I think it's like a cross between VB and C.

    I think Pascal is older then Basic....
    But I'm looking forward to the day I get Delphi for Linux, finally writing code that both works in windooz and linux.
