When posting code, could we have smilies disabled inside of [ code ] tags? It gets a bit annoying if you want to post some code but forget to turn smilies off, or if you need them elsewhere in the post.

Aha, but...
To get James 'Out on a limb' Limm and John 'Shagging Senseless' Percival's attention , you need to posts something dozens and dozens of times before they notice it.
(They're always a bit dazed after the late nights and alcohol-induced sexual activity)

Although if John's not actually reading anything, then it won't make any difference . I suppose we could keep it up for weeks so that he notices when he gets back from a holiday of excess.

James posted a reply in my thread that he would talk about it to John, but it would be difficult 'due to the way the database parses information'.
Since it involves communicating with John, I wouldn't wait for it this year. Perhaps when the world nearly runs out of rubber and condoms rise (pun intended ) in price, he might consider going back to computers.
In the meanwhile, Durex has his attention at the moment.

Although once he's expended the people of France, who knows what he'll start doing to computers .
