1 is not a prime. It just isn't. That's what they tell us so we'd better shut up and listen .

Does that really affect anybody's life, if 1 is a prime or not? I would care more if the Uzbekistanian President's daughter's accountant swatted a fly. Does it really matter? Really? Is it up there with 'why are we here?' and 'where will it end?' and 'is there other life in the universe?' ? No. It's a boring little trivial question about which neither I nor the majority of himan beings care.

So if I care so little, why did I write a 17 line thread about it?
