However, animal welfare groups warned that feathers were important to help the birds protect themselves from parasites - and that they were likely to suffer sunburn.
Since when do the chickens we eat ever get to see the light of day?
They are all grown in self-contained chicken sheds aren't they?
Silly looking things thought ain't they?
