MCSE worthwhile?
Has anybody taken these exams and if so, are they worthwhile - i.e. do employers pay them any heed?
Thanks in advance,
Duncan

Not so much in my industry (Invest. Banking) - experience is the daddy. But as jobs are limited at at the moment, I guess an MSCE could make a little difference.
But in no case would you get say a guy with VB6, Oracle, Bonds experience losing out to a VB6, Oracle, MSCE (no bonds) guy...
I don't know about other areas - I haven't got MSCE and don't feel like I need to IMO...

I think they are much more useful in a consulting industry.
If you are going for the corporate job, then I'd say don't worry about it, but if you are looking for work either AS a consultant or FOR a consulting company, then the MSCE makes a nice addition to the business card and / or company website.
