PHPBB for newbies

hey i just got me own domain this morning and the 1st thing i wanna do is install forums, now PHPBB is the one i want, but do i know how to use it ... no, so any help installin will be appreciated (and yes i looked at the manual)



also i have no idea if this is even relavent to the PHP boards, so i apolagise for that

It didn't come with any install instructions? They're usually pretty self-explainatory.

it came with an instuction file right, and i did what it says, and then it tells me to load up this file called install.php, and some of the questions it asked were like ... what is the name of your database, what version and type is your database etc

and i have no idea what to answer them with

You probably need to create the database yourself and supply it's name during install. The version is probably the version of MySQL that your server is using.
