    Angry Poxy Face

    Son No4 (Luke - 11 months)has got impetigo.
A little scab on his cheek.
Daddy cleans it and puts some nice soothing cream on for him.
Daddy, like a stupid prat, has a shave without cleaning his hands properly.
Daddy now has a sore face that looks like a pepperoni pizza.
    Daddy needs antibiotics.
Daddy can't get pissed for a while.
    Daddy is not happy.

I hadnt heard of impetigo until recently and I wonder if it is more common now than 10 or 20 yrs ago... I have seen a few kiddos with it and worse one seems to be in the mouth ... no more just accepting red marks as mosquito bites eh?

Lukes face is OK now, 3 days on antibiotics did it.
The Doc reckons 'cos I'm old it may take a bit longer for me.
I look like something from a Sci-Fi film.
And it hurts, the bairn was obviously in no pain at all, he wasn't bothered a bit.
    Maybe I'm just a softie.
