Does it Happen to you too?
Well my problem is:
When I answer a thread the ad window pops up. That is not a problem for me itsself I know that a great forum like this needs ads to survive...
But my problem is... the post window suddenly loses focus(not the whole internetexplorer thing, just the textbox we are writing to)... so that gets on my nerves while typing... especially when I hit backspace since that causes my browser to go to the last page and I need to start over again...

Download Opera and turn off Pop up windows  I think Moz and NS does it too, but I'm not sure about IE. Opera is great because you can change it within a couple of clicks.

hm yeah I use opera sometimes I like it... but still I think it could be a problem that might be interesting to John since I think most users here use IE...

In the user control panel under Options go down to Style Set and choose vbsquare!!

Simply turn-off javascript... I don't use js since years and I never got popups on any site ^^" Of course I modified the security options so trustworthy sites are allowed to run js.

You can download SprinksKiller. It's a progam I made a while ago that kills the sprinks popups when they try to come up. There's a link to a thread for it that includes a download link in my signature.

well yeah seems like I got used to the ugly yellow... one thing I will never get used to is how screwed up my name looks in this setting the /\/\ does not make an M anymore... it looks like / \ / \
