So Freakin' Bored!
It's friday night, and I am freakin' bored as hell! It sucks when you don't have friends to go out with or money to do anything with or a car/license to take you places. I'm sitting here on the vbforums...
I need something to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe, just kidding. How old are you? Go get your license if you're old enough

I'm 18, but I don't have enough motivation to go get my license. I don't want to have to get a job and pay for insurance and gas, and life just really sucks... I say I need a life, but then I don't want one... I'm just a dumbass....

You're a perfect candidate to be a programmer. You need an engaging hobby. I'm really looking forward to getting settled and getting my stuff out of storage so I can get back into model building and get away from this computer. It's the only thing I've had to do since January and it's getting very, very old. Once I have my stuff, I can spend my evenings and weekends building and flying (which also means crashing and repairing).
Plus, I'll be able to finish up some plans and get them published.
I don't know what's right for you, but it's something I never get tired of. Having a dog helps too.
If you just need chaos in your life, get a girlfriend.

I do program, but at the moment I am having major "programmers block". I can't think of anything to create, and I'm not very creative. I wish I had money to do that kind of stuff. I love to build things, but everything costs too much money. I have $20 to last until the next time I get a job, which probably won't be anytime soon.

I have two cats... they aren't much fun. I have a little brother, but I think a dog would be more exciting.

Tried that, and it's partially what got me into this mess. I had a girlfriend for 2 years, and I loved her so much, but then I did something stupid (repeatedly) and she dumped me... by then I had ditched my friends and was spending all my time with her, and now that we broke up, my "friends" don't really do anything with me anymore, so I'm kind of a loner... Life's a *****, but I'm slowly getting used to it...

I don't know a guy who hasn't done that - ditched his friends for a chick. Then they say "Never again." and do it again anyway.
Are you looking for work?
* Free stuff you can do:
* Ride your bike around town, the park etc.
* Play basketball at a local court.
* Volunteer time for a cause you would like to help.
* Make a killer web site just for fun. You don't have to upload it if you don't have a space for it, but you can make it ready for when you do.
* Read the Gunslinger series by Stephen King (4 books - go to library)
* Draw up plans for a cat disposal device.
* Learn to draw.
* Cut letters (text) out of newspapers and magazines and send death threats to the neighbor's pets.

LMAO! Some good suggestions there!
Too bad it's 10 o'clock at night, so I can't really ride my bike around the neighborhood without a cop wondering *** i am doing out so late (10 is late in my little boring town) Same with the basketball idea.
There is nowhere around here that I know of that needs volunteers at 10 o'clock at night.
Making websites is getting boring I've made maybe 10 complete websites in the 3 years that I have had the Internet, the most recent being HazteK Software
The library closes at 7 on the Friday and Saturday, and is closed on Sunday. Otherwise I wouldn't mind finding a good book to read.
Cat disposal device, eh? My cat is getting pretty old, she has lost half her hair. I can find a way to dispose of her, but my mom might kick my ass. ( I have a feeling this is not what you meant by cat disposal )
I can draw, but I am not creative, so I usually end up tracing stuff. I don't even have any new computer games to play, I've beaten them all.
No comment on that last one... lol
I think I am just going to find a book somewhere around the houes and read it, just to waste some time.
Thanks for all your suggestions... tomorrow won't be as boring cause when it's light outside, I can ride my bike to the skatepark and practice some tricks... just gotta watch out for cops.

Yeah... I wasn't talking about something to do tonight. I meant just in general. The cat disposal device is intended to dispose of other people's cats - not yours.
What do you use to make your sites dynamic? ASP, PHP, Other? If you really need something to do, you could look at my site and give me suggestions to improve it. I don't know jack about creating a decent web site. I just used FrontPage and started messing around and that's what I ended up with. It's all static though.

By the way, when I was 19, I used to get on my bike at 3 am and ride through the city. It was cool to be the only one awake and the night air was great. Never had a cop say a thing to me.

Have you played Brotherhood of Steel? I'm playing it for the 3rd time. Really fun. I want to get Arena 3, but my system barely meets the recommended requirements. Plus I'm unemployed and don't think buying computer games is probably a good thing to do with my limited savings.
Well, I'm gonna hit the sack. Hope you come up with something entertaining until you do the same. Take care.

I play some snes games for a break some times using ZSNES.
Need to re-register ASP.NET?
C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v#VERSIONNUMBER#\aspnet_regiis -i
(Edit #VERSIONNUMBER# as needed - do a DIR if you don't know)
