Hi, I have the trypical prob.

i am planning a multiuser application in the medical field.
Now everytime i read the help on linked tables, i see the msg records can get corrupted and so on.
Now what is thus all abt. Can i get an answer abt why repairing of an database is reqd. And in thefirst case how to eliminate the problem so that repairing is seldom needed.
    Thnx

Hmm. Well you could get a job at Microsoft, specifically working on Jet/Access.

If it becomes a problem, you should consider a more robust DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, pick one). Then you'll be trading repair of database for DBCC.

If your database gets corrupted, you will have to fix it. You will get spurious entries, at worst, or Access (Jet) refusing to open at best.
