I am attempting to develop a Digtial Image Watermarking program that can both Watermark and detect Watermaked Digital Images.

I would like any advice on how to make those DIMs less obvious to the untrained eye. I have thought of relative image pixel color adjustment coupled with a pre-arranged location map but this seems a bit flimsy.
