Windows 2000 logon problem
I just reinstalled 2K adv server to make it a bit leaner (and sort out some of the drivel that active directory left )...all was fine.
Added an extra user for my normal account, leaving me with Mike and Administrator.
I installed the VIA service pack (4.28a), and now I can't log on It accepts the username and password, but gets to "Loading your settings..." (or similar), but jumps straight to "Saving your settings...", and drops me back to the "Hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete to enter your password" screen.
Does this for both, but I can log on perfectly well in Safe Mode. What's more, I can occasionally log on as Mike, but virtually nothing works; the Add/Remove Programs control panel shows the broken image pictures all over it
Anyone got any ideas?
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
