Ok, for some reason on the 486 66 DX computer that I'm setting up in my garage for this summer, I'm having some very weird problems. I booted up from a boot disk, formatted the hard drive, and then did a full install of Win 95 w/ minimal options. So I'm starting from a clean slate now. Then I d/led the Windows Media Player 6.4 for Win 95 & NT. I installed it on the 486. Then I ran the installation program I made for MY program w/ package and deployment wizard. It says it has to update the system files and asks me to restart the system and run setup again. So I did this. Everything installs fine except It gives an error saying that it could not register "MSDXM.ocx". Now when I try to run Windows Media Player or My program I get the this Error:

"The MSDXM.OCX file is linked to missing export Shell32.dll: ExtractIconExW."

Then I get another error message that says a device is not connected to the system or something like that.

What's going on here? What's wrong with my Shell32.dll file? I just did a full install, and why won't it register MSDXM.ocx? It works fine on my Win XP and Win 98 systems. Any help with this is extremely appreciated.
