Anyone knows Activex Control and Database

i just learn VB for a few weeks and my lecturer ask me to do a
ActiveX control which can let the User to input the Databasename
and Recordsource into the property during design time instead for a fixed address in the CODE.

But i encounter another problem that is my PROGRAM can only open a 98 access but not 2000 access.

And my program is too Dull, can any kind-hearted and pleasant Ladies or Gentleman teach how to solve this TWO PROBLEM!
