Upgrading from Win98se to Win2K Pro

I am considering making the change from Win98se to Win2K Pro. Does anyone have any comments/suggestions? I use NT4.0 at work and I love the stability but it dosn't support USB. Are there many compatibility issues with Win2k pro?
