Setting up a Win2K Server
I have Windows 2000 Professional on two of my three computers, and one of them is just running as a webserver for my friends' site. I want to make my family log on to the network, so that I can give whoever access because I found out my sister was on MY computer sending e-mails with MY e-mail address. I want to block them from using the computers without a valid account, just to see if I can do it. Can I run a server using Win2K Pro, or do I have to get the Server version of 2K?
If I can do it with Pro, does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do it? I don't want to buy a book to do this, since it's just a little project and I rather spend my money on usefull items, like a GeForce 3 or 4
Thanks
Joey
PS When in hell did we get a "General PC" forum here? I like it!
