Why won't my USB ports work?
On my other PC, there are 2 USB ports - these have never been used. (I just got the PC). I need to connect a CD-Burner to the USB port to copy some stuff off the HD.
Initially, I had to install Win98, cause Win95 didn't like the USB interface. Then I had to modify the BIOS to let it recognise the USB ports. I think there were two settings, one for general USB availability, and one for DOS USB availability...
I did all this, and then I get msgs in Windows System settings that say the device (CD-Burner) is installed properly, but the signal isn't getting there or something, and to check the internal cabling...
I did that, which cause my other problem...
Help!
