Hi there,
I have been programming vb for almost a year now, I am comfortable with all of the intrinsic controls.
I have done some winsock programming (Wrote a chat server and client), ADO and DAO, simple API etc. During the year I have undertaken various projects.
I have just started to try to get to grips with class's and Components - Activex.dll and exe's.
Question 1)
I am hoping to get a job as a junior vb developer and I was just wondering if anyone who had done the same could give me an idea of what to expect in terms of workload, and required knowledge.
Am I way short of the mark?
Question 2)
Do most vb applications in the real wolrd use Components a lot? or is thet more in the realm of C++.
